Beginning Band is for students with little or no musical training on a chosen instrument. To participate in beginning band, students must be at least 9 years old or have the approval of the director to start at an earlier age. It is very important that every effort is made to ensure your child's success. The first two weeks of band will be dedicated to putting the instrument together and producing a tone. Please be patient as your child begins this process.
