Please pray that the Lord would provide a place where our whole program (band and strings) can rehearse as well as a place we can centrally locate all of our equipment and material. We are currently spread between three facilities.

WOW!! has it really been that long since I've updated this. My humble apologies. I will do my best to improve upon this. As you can see in the Newflash across the page, Thursday and Friday this week will be days off for all of our Strings and Band classes. McIlwain will be using the rooms we are borrowing for some testing during the day. Many thanks goes out to the Pastor and people of McIlwain Presbyterian for their generosity and willingness to bail us out in a time of desperate need. If you run across anyone on staff while dropping off or picking up a child from rehearsal, please take time to say thanks.

THANK YOU CARDS FOR EAST BRENT
We would like all of our students to write thank you notes to East Brent for the use of their facilities for these oh-so-many years. Keep in mind that they freely, "FREE" being the operative word, gave of their facilities, plus accommodating all of our needs – concerts, parties, office space, use of equipment, etc. etc. etc. Parents, please write notes as well, and ask any former players you know to do so also. Please bring to band or send to Petrea Tomko to put in one big envelope by next Friday, Sept. 30.

NEW LOCATION FOR BAND
Beginning Tuesday ALL bands will meet at MCILWAIN Presbyterian Church. Times are the same. The easiest way to get to McIlwain from East Brent is to take Davis Hwy south (right turn out of EB parking lot) to Blount Street. Turn left on Blount and go east to 13th street. McIlwain is on you left. There is a parking lot on the NE corner of the intersection were you can park. Walk around to the front of the church to the courtyard between the two main buildings. You will see a breezeway with a door in the center. Go in that door and up the stairs on the right and you will see the band rooms. There will be signs directing you once you get to the church.

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
Today we found out that East Brent is allowing the Red Cross to use the Fellowship Hall as a registration point for our friends from the west. What a great ministry for the church. Because of this, we are left looking for a place for the Bands to rehearse as we had used the Fellowship Hall. East Brent will allow us to use a Sunday School classroom in the Worship Center for rehearsals for right now. But we still need to find a place to store equipment, our office and our music library. The perfect situation would be a place where the band and strings could be centrally located. But the Lord has a plan and we need to trust Him. If anyone has any ideas please contact a board member or Mr. Witter. Thank you.
